Plans/Changes/New Blog

With homeschooling and other changes in my life lately, I do not have time to carefully write posts on a frequent and regular basis right now.

I’ve enjoyed writing on Christian Kindred, and I plan to leave this blog here for a while longer.  I will probably take it down sometime in April 2010 when my domain name etc… is up for renewal.  In the meantime, hopefully the articles I’ve written here will help and encourage some people.  I may continue to post here occasionally, and I may eventually submit some new articles to Christian magazines and see what happens.

I definitely want to keep writing.  I am thinking about starting a new blog on Wordpress.com (which is FREE!) just to write about any topic that I get an urge to write about – informally – and as frequently (or randomly) as my mind takes a notion and my schedule allows.  That leaves the writing field pretty open.  Not sure yet what the name of the new blog will be, but I’ll try to post a link here when I figure that out.

Like my pastor always says:  “God is good all the time!”  I thank the Lord for all He is doing, for loving me, for never leaving me, and for never giving up on me.  I thank Him for all the myriads of ways He blesses me everyday.

Christian Kindred, whatever you are going through, focus on the truth and on your future with God.  He loves you.  Walk in His rest (Hebrews chapter 4).  I love you, and I pray for you – all my brothers and sisters in Christ – all over the world.  Isn’t it awesome that we will all get to meet each other someday?  We’ll have eternity with each other and -best of all- with our Lord Jesus Christ!

God bless you!

Mel

If you are stopping here and don’t know Jesus, you can!  He can and will change your life.  All you need to do is surrender it to Him.  You can trust Him with your life and with everything.  After all, He had enough love to die for you.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life”  (John 3:16).

“For, ‘Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved’” (Romans 10:13).
